The Bowie Forest Homeowners Association Board approved the budget for fiscal year 2021, which includes keeping the monthly assessment fees at $85.00. In an effort to keep assessment fees at $85.00 per month, the board agreed to eliminate the printing and postage costs associated with sending all residents monthly payment booklets.
In addition, the board is inviting all residents to sign-up to receive email notices of special community concerns and/or events to help save postage costs as well. You must provide the authorization for the Association to send you electronic notices by completing and returning the Electronic Notification form (EN Form) form.
Board meetings are held quarterly on the second Wednesday (January, April, July and October) at 7:00 p.m. All meetings will be held via Zoom until further notice. Please visit the community website at

If you wish to receive a payment coupon booklet, please contact D.H. Bader Management Services at eclosson@dhbader.com to request the payment booklet.
Please note there is no cost to pay by e-check; however, the bank charges a fee when paying the association assessment fees by credit card.
Remember the Bowie Forest Homeowners Association relies upon your prompt payment of assessments. Payments are due the first of each month and will incur interest if not paid by the 10th of each month.
The Board is looking for volunteers to serve on the Architectural and Environmental Control Committee (AECC).
The Committee reviews applications for exterior changes to the homes and participates in the inspection of homes for maintenance issues and/or unapproved changes.

The City of Bowie will pick up Christmas trees every Wednesday in January, beginning January 6th.
Trees that still have tinsel attached will not be picked up
TRASH PICKUP DAYS: Monday and Thursday
RECYCLING DAY: Wednesday
Trash bags are not allowed to be placed on common areas or next to mailboxes.
Trash must be placed in front of your residence – never in common areas. Place items out for collection prior to 7 a.m. on the day of collection, but not prior to 5 p.m. the day before your collection.
Trash should be in closed containers.

The Association is responsible for snow plowing within Bowie Forest. Homeowners are responsible for shoveling the sidewalks in front/side of their homes. Please clear the snow from your sidewalks as soon as possible after each snow.
